Syed Amjad Ali Shah

Syed Amjad Ali Shah is Country Director at Minhaj Welfare Foundation. He is an educator, social activist and intra- and interfaith leader. He teaches in various leading universities and institutes of Pakistan and Afghanistan, including Institute of Management Studies University of Peshawar, Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar, Sarhad University, City University, Hazara University and Kardan Institute of Higher Education Kabul.

Mr. Shah has done work on diverse peace and conflict resolution projects in the region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federal Administered Tribal Areas (FATA. He worked on issues of peace, tolerance, conflict resolution, conflict management and Madrasa (religious schools) teachers' training. He trained hundreds of religious scholars and youth on peace, tolerance, conflict management, conflict resolution, time management, leadership, team work themes. He is anchor of a number of Television and Radio programs.. He is official professional trainer for Pakistan Post, Sustainable Peace and Development Organization (SPADO), International Center for Religious Diplomacy (ICRD), and Minhaj-Ul-Quran International. He is member of executive council of Minhaj-Ul-Quran International and active member of Muslims Leaders of Tomorrow (MLT) network, Ittehad Khalil Jirga and Karwaan. Mr. Shah has been involved in creating peace manuals for both youth and religious scholars. Mr. Shah has a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
