GIU Signs Academic Agreement with Universidad Azteca

Global Interfaith University (GIU) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universidad Azteca, to foster collaboration in higher education and enhance educational opportunities for their students and promote mutual understanding. The MoU was signed by both institutions on July 20, 2025. The agreement covers programs via recognition or assessment of prior learning, always in line with Coursed taken and transferred, Final Research Work, Thesis Research and Competency-based Higher Education.

UNIVERSIDAD AZTECA is legally represented by Azteca Inter-University Programs, hereinafter called AZTECA UNIVERSITY. Azteca Inter-University Programs S.C. is a Civil Society incorporated under the laws as stated in Public Deed 22335, dated May 27, 2014, granted before the Lic. Manuel Enrique Oliveros Lara, Notary Public No. 100 at the Federal District, which was duly registered with the Directorate General of the Public Registry of Property and Commerce under No. 110596 dated June 23, 2014. With Federal Tax Registry as API140528927 and address for these purposes of this contract is located in, Calle Teotihuacán N°18 Col. Hipódromo, Delegación Cuauhtémoc México D.F., C.P. 06100.

Universidad Azteca is a Private University with Recognition of the Official Validity of Studies awarded by the federal Secretary of Education (Institución Particular, con Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial de Estudios (RVOE) ante la Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos), accredited by the Federal Ministry of Education of the Republic and recognized by the Federal Government (SECRETARIA DE EDUCACION PUBLICA, SEP) to issue University Degrees, listed on the international level with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), International Association of Universities under the list of universities of México in the International Handbook of official directory of accredited universities published by the United Nations (http://www.unesco.org/iau), with legal domicile where to receive notifications in the city of Chalco, Palma No. 61, Barrio de San Antonio, Chalco C.P. 56600, México.
