GIU Signs Academic Agreement with SBCODL, India

Global Interfaith University (GIU) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), on May 28, 2025, with Solanki Brothers Council for Open and Distance Learning (SBCODL), marking the beginning of a promising partnership based on mutual trust and cooperation. Solanki Brothers Council for Open and Distance Learning (SBCODL) is an autonomous educational body registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and officially recognized by NITI Aayog (Govt. of India) with Unique ID: UP/2024/0414971, MSME registration: UDYAM-UP-25-0003415, and tax exemption under Section 12A & 80G of the Income Tax Act of India. SBCODL is headquartered in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, and is committed to promoting distance, open, and e-learning throughout South Asia and internationally.
SBCODL envisages becoming the world's best institution on open and distance education by imparting quality education, skills, and confidence to the learners to learn and excel in the dynamic world. Through making learning affordable, accessible, and innovative, we want to bring that extra mile for education and ensure that students can excel academically and professionally, irrespective of their geographies or socio-economic backgrounds.
This agreement aims to foster the development of both institutions while promoting international understanding and goodwill. The Agreement outlines several key areas of collaboration, including joint research projects in areas of mutual interest, reciprocal accreditations, and affiliations, as well as student exchanges and transfers.
Through this partnership, Global Interfaith University and Solanki Brothers Council for Open and Distance Learning (SBCODL) aim to provide students and faculty with enriched academic opportunities and further strengthen their global presence in higher education.
