The 5-Day Online Yoga Workshop, organized by Global Interfaith University, USA, in collaboration with Alfred Nobel University, Ukraine, aims to promote holistic well-being through yoga, will be held from May 11 to May 15, 2026. This five-day program is designed to run online for one hour each day at 14:10 Kyiv time, focusing on integrating physical health, mental balance, and spiritual harmony.
The workshop’s core objective is to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of yoga rooted in Indian traditions, illustrating how yoga enhances physical fitness, emotional stability, and mental clarity. Additionally, it seeks to foster cross-cultural understanding and wellness diplomacy among India, the USA, and Ukraine by sharing shared learning experiences.
Targeted at university students, faculty, researchers, wellness practitioners, and international yoga enthusiasts, the program is accessible via Zoom or Google Meet, with links sent a day before each session. Each day’s session follows a structured format: a brief introduction, warm-up exercises, yoga asanas, pranayama techniques, meditation, and reflection/Q&A.
The daily themes and topics include: Day 1 introduces yoga philosophy and its roots in holistic health; Day 2 emphasizes physical strength and flexibility through postural awareness and asanas; Day 3 explores pranayama and breath awareness's role in stress management; Day 4 focuses on yoga’s benefits for mental health and stress reduction, including meditation practices; Day 5 discusses lifestyle management, yogic diet principles, and practical techniques for daily application.
Expected outcomes encompass a thorough understanding of yoga’s philosophy, improved posture and flexibility, mastery of breathing techniques, enhanced emotional resilience, and practical lifestyle integration. Participants will learn to incorporate yoga into their routines, promoting long-term health and mindfulness.
A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all who attend all five sessions, jointly issued by both universities, recognizing their engagement in this comprehensive program. Overall, the workshop offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills aimed at fostering global well-being through yoga.
