Mr. Vandan Jain is a distinguished self-motivated entrepreneur and dedicated social activist hailing from Tezpur, Assam, India. His life and work are profoundly influenced by the timeless principles of Jainism, which emphasize non-violence (ahimsa), truth (satya), non-possessiveness (aparigraha), and discipline. Rooted in these spiritual values, Vandan Jain exemplifies integrity, compassion, and a relentless commitment to service, both in his professional pursuits and community initiatives.
Currently serving as an Executive Member of the Terapanth Yuvak Parishad (TYP), Tezpur, Assam—a branch of the Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad—Mr. Jain has a longstanding record of leadership, having previously served as President of TYP, Tezpur in 2016. His leadership continues to inspire youth and community members to embrace service and spiritual values. In 2025, he observed a nine-day religious fast, exemplifying his dedication to Jain principles through personal discipline and devotion. He is also actively engaged in spreading knowledge of Jain philosophy and contemporary teachings, fostering awareness among youth within the Jain community as well as across other sects.
As a member of the Swetambar Terapanth Dharm Sangh, a prominent sect within Jainism founded in 1760 AD by Acharya Bhikshu, Vandan Jain’s spiritual identity is deeply intertwined with the sect’s core principles. The Terapanth sect emphasizes discipline, spiritual growth, and social responsibility, guiding its followers to lead ethical lives dedicated to the betterment of society. Currently, the sect is led by His Holiness Acharya Shri Mahashraman Ji, the 11th spiritual head, whose teachings further inspire Vandan Jain’s approach to life and service.
Professionally, Vandan Jain has established himself as a visionary entrepreneur with a focus on sustainable and socially responsible business practices. His ventures are characterized by integrity, transparency, and a keen sense of social impact.
