Dr. Fotabe Elmine

Dr. Fotabe Elmine E. is a prominent Cameroonian academic, social entrepreneur, and educational leader dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, leadership, and skills development across Cameroon and Africa. She is the founder and Board Chair of Fotabe University of Cameroon (FUNIC), an institution focused on entrepreneurship, technology, and leadership training aimed at empowering youth and professionals. Her leadership extends to multiple social and educational initiatives, including vocational training centers and platforms designed to educate children, women, and marginalized communities, especially in rural areas lacking access to reliable internet or electricity.

Academically, Dr. Elmine E. holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from EMAS Business School in Russia. Her educational background also includes master’s degrees in Human Resource Management, International Business MBA, and Marketing & Communication from various institutions, including Midiforme Business School in Rome. Her broad educational foundation underpins her expertise in strategic management, human resources, and international business.

Her professional career highlights include serving as Assistant Dean of the School of Business at the Catholic University Institute of Buea and as Rector of JSF Polytechnic in Cameroon. She is also a trainer of managers from diverse organizations and is the Cameroon Country Representative for Rome Business School, where she teaches MBA courses in HR, marketing, and strategy. These roles demonstrate her influence in higher education, executive training, and capacity building.

A passionate advocate for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Dr. Elmine E. founded ASSPRODEC, the Association for the Promotion of Decent Work for Women and Girls. The organization provides training, supports women’s empowerment, and has awarded hundreds of scholarships. Her contributions to education and social impact have earned her notable recognition, including the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year (2020/2021) and the US Chamber of Commerce Courage Award (2022).

Her vision centers on delivering accessible, quality education and nurturing entrepreneurial leaders, especially among youth and women, to drive sustainable development and social transformation in Cameroon and Africa.
