Prof. Inna Anatoliivna Tsvihun

Professor Inna Anatoliivna Tsvihun is a distinguished Ukrainian economist and academic leader at Podillia State University in Kamianets-Podilskyi. She holds the Doctor of Economics Sciences degree and was appointed a full Professor in 2021. Her primary role is as Head of the Department of Accounting, Taxation, and Technologies of Electronic Business, where she oversees academic programs and research activities in these fields.
Prof. Tsvihun graduated in 1998 with a degree in Accounting and Auditing, establishing a strong foundation in economic and financial disciplines. She completed her Candidate of Sciences (PhD equivalent) in 2002, conducting research on fodder production analysis in market conditions. Her doctoral dissertation, focused on Demographic Security of Ukraine, was successfully defended in 2016, reflecting her interest in socio-economic stability and national security issues.
Her research interests are diverse but interconnected, emphasizing demographic security, sustainable development, and economic modeling. She explores how demographic factors influence societal stability and economic growth, especially within Ukraine’s challenging wartime context. Her work also encompasses accounting, state audits, and statistical research methods, contributing valuable insights into Ukraine’s socio-economic resilience.
As an educator, Prof. Tsvihun teaches courses including Statistics, Audit, Economic-Statistical Modeling, State Audit, and Methodology of Scientific Research. Her teaching integrates theoretical foundations with practical applications, preparing students for careers in finance, auditing, and economic analysis.
With over 250 publications, she is a prolific scholar contributing to both national and international scientific outlets. Her research on sustainable development and demographic security has gained recognition, especially given the current geopolitical challenges in Ukraine. Additionally, she actively participates in academic governance, chairing dissertation defenses and engaging in specialized councils.
Prof. Tsvihun’s professional service extends to leading scientific projects focused on Ukraine’s demographic security under wartime conditions, emphasizing her commitment to addressing urgent national issues.
