Associate Prof. Anurag Hazarika

Vice President, Partnerships & International Relations

Dr. Anurag Hazarika is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive expertise in Commerce, Management, and Economics. Holding multiple qualifications—including M. Com, MBA, M. Phil, PGDCA, PGDRD, and Ph.D.—he currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Commerce and Management at St. Xavier’s College, Tezpur, Assam, India. Additionally, he has been a dedicated Teaching Faculty at KKHSOU University’s Tezpur College Centre for the past eight years, imparting knowledge in Management, Commerce, and Economics. His prior experience includes roles as a Guest Faculty at Tezpur Law College and currently as a Guest Faculty of Economics at the School of Engineering, Tezpur University, a Central University in Assam.


Dr. Hazarika has authored approximately nine reference and textbook publications on Commerce and Management, and has served as Editor and Co-editor for six books, demonstrating his scholarly contributions. He has published around seven research papers in UGC CARELIST journals, reflecting his active engagement in academic research. His editorial involvement is notable, as he is a member of the editorial boards of 40 international and 22 national research journals, and reviews for about 37 national and international journals.


His research recognition extends to presentations at prestigious global institutions, including Duke University in the USA (2014), RUDN University in Russia (2022), and Howard University in the USA (2024). He has also been invited as a keynote speaker at several national and international conferences, including serving as the keynote speaker at the Barcelona International Model United Nations in 2017, and as a keynote at MUNs worldwide in 2023 and 2024. Beyond academia, Dr. Hazarika actively collaborates with NGOs and youth organizations, serving as an International Advisory Board Member and Country Director for organizations based in Africa, exemplifying his commitment to social development and international engagement.
