Dr. Myint Htoon

Dr. Myint Htoon is a highly accomplished academic leader, senior professor, and management consultant with over 20 years of experience in higher education and business advisory roles. Currently serving as Academic Dean and Senior Professor in Myanmar, he has played a pivotal role in elevating MBA and doctoral programs to meet international standards and establishing global academic partnerships with institutions such as Global Interfaith University, IICSE University, Northwest International University, and the University of Atlanta.

He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing, an MSc, and six MBA specialization certificates from Regensys Business School, demonstrating his expertise in strategic marketing, organizational behavior, HR management, international management, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Additionally, he possesses multiple diplomas in HRM, operations, customer service, business management, and digital marketing from Ireland and the UK, along with professional certifications including Certified Business Leader, Certified Master of Business Consulting, and Certified Management Trainer. These credentials underscore his commitment to integrating academic knowledge with practical business skills.

Throughout his career, Dr. Htoon has held significant roles such as Academic Dean for Myanmar’s MBA Education Panel (2011–2018) and since 2023, Senior Professor for co-branded international postgraduate programs. His teaching portfolio encompasses MBA, BBA-MCC programs with Siam University Bangkok, and professional diplomas in marketing, strategic management, logistics, and workforce development. He has supervised numerous theses, designed curricula addressing real-world challenges, and developed training initiatives to improve student employability and institutional reputation.

As a management consultant and trainer, Dr. Htoon has advised over 30 organizations, including Golden Brother Group, Htoo Sett Linn, and Suzuki Motor (FMI Group), focusing on sales, marketing, HR, and operations. His corporate training programs have contributed to workforce strengthening, especially in Myanmar’s post-crisis recovery.

An active scholar and author, he has published works such as "Living in The Managing Age," "Employee Value Creating Strategy," and "Principles of Marketing." He also produces business plans and contributes to media projects, bridging theory and practice. Affiliated with organizations like BELMAS (UK), the Distance Education & Accreditation Council (USA), and the Certified Management Institute (UK), he leverages his multilingual abilities in English, Myanmar, Thai, and Japanese to foster cross-border collaborations. His vision centers on advancing Myanmar’s higher education and nurturing future business leaders.
