Global Interfaith University MA in Philosophy Program Overview
Philosophy deals with some of the very profound and most complex questions about life, human beings and our place in life itself. Our Master of Arts in Philosophy Program supports our students to develop the basic skills, knowledge based on logic, critical thinking, and values clarification. The curriculum is designed to empower students to apply philosophical and ethical knowledge and skills in ministry, evangelism. This curriculum also prepares students for further research in different areas of religion, philosophy, theology, sociology and politics. The overall objective of our Master of Arts (MA) in Philosophy Program is to empower students with the philosophical knowledge and skills from a religious and faith worldview, leading to career enhancement.
Learning and teaching
The Course is taught by expert academics and professors, including industry professionals and postgraduate researchers with years of experience. The modules are taught through a combination of Online, Distance Learning lectures and seminars, where students also have the opportunity to discuss any issues with their tutors and fellow students. Each student is assigned an Academic Advisor/Supervisor from the beginning of the Course, and especially while they work on their Dissertations. Global Interfaith University also encourages independent study, which helps students to develop their skills and pursue their interests even more intimately.
Duration of the Program
Our Master of Arts (MA) in Philosophy Program is completed within one year, with an extension where a student is unable to complete the modules within the stipulated period. The University does not charge any extra or additional fees for the extension. Each Semester lasts for three (3) months. Therefore, our MA in Philosophy Programs last for a period of four (4) Semesters.
