Dr. Fotabe Elmine
GIU Senior Faculty Member and Academic Advisor
Dr. Fotabe Elmine is an accomplished academic leader, corporate trainer, and strategic management expert with extensive experience in higher education governance, curriculum development, and executive leadership training. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from Eurasian Management and Administration School (EMAS) Business School in Russia, an MBA in International Business, a Master’s in Marketing & Communication, and a Master’s in Human Resource Management, as well as a Certificate in Psychology & Mental Health from the University of Liverpool, UK.
Her academic career includes senior leadership roles such as Deputy Associate Provost at the Catholic University Institute of Buea, Rector of JSF Polytechnic, and service as an examiner for the Higher National Diploma (HND) program. She has contributed to curriculum design and review for multiple institutions and teaches MBA courses in Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Business Strategy as the Country Representative for Rome Business School.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. Fotabe has founded and managed six businesses over the past 12 years. She is a corporate trainer for FINASDDEE Credit Line Cameroon S.A., where she recruits middle to senior-level managers, provides one-on-one executive coaching, and advises on strategic development. She also collaborates with Customer Experience Touchpoints Group, delivering training in leadership, HR, and customer service.
As an international speaker and trainer, she has delivered programs in Italy, India, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Tanzania, and South Africa. She also serves as President of two non-profit boards: the Association for the Promotion of Decent Work for Women and Girls (ASSPRODEC) and the Association for the promotion of Universal Education in Cameroon (APUEC).
Her contributions to education and leadership have earned her numerous awards, including the American Chamber of Commerce Courage Award, Best Social Entrepreneur of the Year, and special recognition from the Cameroon Embassy in Washington, D.C. for her outstanding service to education and leadership.
